GLONETA – (Global Network for Technological Advancement) is deeply concerned about the fraudulent use of our name, letterhead and logo by unethical individuals who deliberately abuse the trust of GLONETA supporters worldwide. Following are details on how fraud is perpetrated – and how to help protect both GLONETA and yourself from its potential serious consequences.

Fraudulent Offers

We have received reports that imposters may now be using GLONETA’s name – and our hard-earned credibility – to solicit members of the public via websites, e-mails and phone calls.

These abuses have been brought to the attention of GLONETA. We are alerting the general public in an effort to ensure that people do not become victims, and are lured into providing their personal contact details.

Please be advised that websites, e-mails and telephone calls offering Volunteering or prizes on behalf of GLONETA are fabricated and fraudulent. Only GLONETA is authorized to send communications or appeals to the public in GLONETA’s name.

Volunteering Opportunities with GLONETA

Please don’t be deceived by the Caption “NO Fee Volunteer Opportunities in Africa or Volunteer opportunities for free”. There is no such advert with GLONETA.

All GLONETA volunteers pay the sum of 400 Euro to cover their cost of stay while in Cameroon.

Please any other email address you used is FRAUD. There are some internet scammers who have created email addresses and duped volunteers. Examples of those email addresses are:

  • Please never send money via Western Union, Money Gram. GLONETA does not asked volunteers or donors to make any payment via Western Union, Money Gram.
  • We asked volunteers or donors to send money via bank transfer. If you are asked to send money via Western Union, please note that this is fake and illegal.
